Program description
In this program, students are introduced to the various functional aspects of business inÌýgeneral, and accounting in particular. Graduates are proficient in computer,Ìýcommunication, and mathematical skills and employ advanced management andÌýfinancial management techniques to support accounting activities, including theÌýmaintenance of accounting records and the preparation and presentation of financialÌýstatements. In addition to the skills acquired in the two-year program, graduates areÌýable to perform a number of more complex functions using analytical and evaluationÌýskills to support management decision-making and collaborating in the design of anÌýorganization’s internal control system.

What are the admission requirements for the Business Administration – Accounting program?
Business Administration – Accounting admission requirements
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature student status
- Grade 12 English (C or U)
- any Grade 111 or 12 Mathematics (C, M, or U)
- 1
Minimum of 60% in Grade 11 College or University level Mathematics (MBF3C orÌýMCF3M)Ìý
Mature students, non-secondary school applicants (19 years or older), and home schoolÌýapplicants may also be considered for admission. Eligibility may be met by applicantsÌýwho have taken equivalent courses, upgrading, completed their GED, and equivalency testing.
